By creating an account or using Trotii, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Acceptance of terms
These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Trotii. They cover your use of the Trotii mobile app, website, and any related services (collectively, the Service).
Eligibility & age
You must be at least 13 years old to use Trotii. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. We ask for your date of birth when you sign up and do not permit accounts for anyone under 13.
If you are between 13 and 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf and permits your use of the Service.
Age verification by app stores. Depending on where you live, the App Store or Google Play may verify your age and, if you are a minor, obtain parental consent before you can download or use the Service, as required by laws such as the Texas App Store Accountability Act (SB 2420). The app stores may share age-range information and consent status with us, which we use only to provide an age-appropriate experience and to comply with these laws, as described in our Privacy Policy. We may limit, restrict, or decline access where required age verification or parental consent has not been completed.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that do not meet these age and consent requirements.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity that occurs under it. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep your information reasonably up to date. You may not create accounts using false identities or impersonate others.
We reserve the right to limit, suspend, or remove duplicate, fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized accounts.
User content
You own the content you post on Trotii. By posting, you grant Trotii a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, distribute, and adapt that content as needed to operate the Service. This license ends when you delete your content or your account, except for content already shared with other users.
You're responsible for the content you post. Don't post anything you don't have rights to share.
We may remove content, restrict visibility, or take other moderation actions at our sole discretion if we believe content violates these Terms, harms the community, or creates legal or reputational risk for Trotii. We use a combination of automated screening tools and human review to detect prohibited content before it's shown publicly.
Acceptable use
To keep Trotii a kind and useful place, you agree not to:
- Post content that's illegal, harmful, threatening, hateful, harassing, or that infringes someone else's rights
- Post sexually explicit content or content that exploits minors
- Impersonate other people or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone
- Spam, scrape, crawl, use bots or automated systems, reverse engineer, exploit vulnerabilities, or attempt to circumvent any technical or security measures used to protect the Service
- Use Trotii for commercial purposes without our written permission
- Interfere with anyone else's use and enjoyment of Trotii
Intellectual property
The Trotii name, logo, app design, and code are owned by Trotii. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of our trademarks or proprietary materials without permission.
Third-party services
Trotii may rely on third-party services, infrastructure providers, analytics vendors, hosting providers, and authentication systems to operate the Service. These third parties may have their own terms and privacy policies, and Trotii is not responsible for the availability, functionality, or practices of third-party services.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time from in-app Settings. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account or access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you violated these Terms, pose a risk to the community, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification — will continue to apply.
Disclaimers
Trotii is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, reliable, or that content available through the Service will be accurate or suitable for your purposes. Use the Service at your own risk and do not rely on it for safety-critical, medical, legal, financial, or other high-risk decisions.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Trotii and its founders, affiliates, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Trotii, its founders, affiliates, employees, contractors, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal and accounting fees, arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the competent courts of Tel Aviv, Israel.
Changes to terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you in the app and update the last updated date above. Continued use of Trotii after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
